We are faced with an important decision as the new year starts. The costs of running this site have increased considerably in the past year. It takes thousands of dollars a year to keep this site online and free for everyone to read. Unless you help out, sacred-texts will have to go offline or have to be scaled back. Support the site by buying sacred-texts on disk. This is a complete library of over a thousand of the most important books ever written. It includes the complete text of all major world scriptures, and hundreds of books scanned specially for sacred-texts. |

Now that I've finished the Satapatha Brahmana, the next big project will be doing over the Sacred Books of the East Zend Avesta series: SBE 4, 23 and 31. Also in progress is the JPS project. Of course, other works will appear regularly.
